Incident closes both westbound U. S. 80 for two hours Tuesday morning

On Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 7:53 am, the Forney Police Department received calls of a disturbance in the 400 block of Woodcrest Way. A caller advised she saw a female in the bed of a yellow Dodge pickup screaming for help. The caller advised that she saw the female jump out of the truck and that the yellow pickup had left the scene.
The female victim who was in the truck then contacted Forney PD and reported that her boyfriend had taken her yellow Dodge truck with the intent to sell it for parts. The victim also stated that the male was possibly suicidal.
