CUSTOMERS CAN OPT OUT OF $1 SURCHARGE FOR CAREFLITE
At least two water utilities have been charging their customers a $1.00 surcharge for CareFlight service over the past several months. One is the City of Forney. Another is Markout Water District.
Water customers need to be aware that they can opt out of this surcharge. However, in order to do so, you must appear before the water utility in person and sign a form requesting to opt out.
