Voters elect newcomers to two City Council seats

Last Saturday, voters elected two newcomers to the City Council as a result of balloting in the May 6 Forney municipal election.

According to unofficial combined early voting and Election Day returns, results of the City of Forney municipal election of May were: 

Mayor:
Rick Wilson (Uncontested) - 601 (447 undervotes)

City Council, Place 2:

Cheryl Ballard - 480 (47.47%)
