On Tuesday evening, I attended the last formal class meeting of the spring, 2017 Forney Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy.
The Academy, presented for the first time ever, began Feb. 28 and consisted of 10 required sessions. The Academy will end officially on May 23, when those of us who attended the required classes will receive our diplomas in a graduation ceremony.
