When GOD set up this nation of Israel to reach the world through them, He knew that all humans were evil (compared to Him), from youth to adulthood. He knew if he tried to take Jacob’s family and make a nation without any hardships, they would rebel and wouldn’t want to keep His law and serve Him as He required. GOD had to put them in a place where they would need Him to help them out of it. We have to remember that GOD does not think or act like humans. GOD’S plans are Spiritual and eternal. Actually, He does not need our help. As we examine GOD’S plan, we will find each detail carefully planned and carried out.
When Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream he told him that GOD had doubled the dream to make it sure. In the New Testament Jesus often said verily, verily, I say unto you…..which meant that what He was saying was steadfast and sure.
