Second graders tour key locations in, near downtown on Apr. 21 field trip

The second grade classes from Blackburn Elementary School “invaded” Forney Friday, Apr. 21 on a morning field trip.
In three groups, the students, along with teachers and adult chaperones, visited the Forney Fire Station, the Spellman Museum of Forney History, the post office, and City Hall.
After the tour of City Hall, and before visiting the Forney police station, all of the groups met at Community Park for a lunch-and-fun break.
