GARLAND (Garland Naaman Forest High School) Friday, February 17, 2017)— In an Area round women’s playoff game, state powerhouse Frisco Liberty defeated North Forney by a count of 60-36. With the win, Frisco Liberty, who is currently ranked 6th in the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches Class 5A State Poll, improves to 29-6 overall. Meanwhile, North Forney sees their excellent season end at 21-13. Note: Frisco Liberty advanced all the way to the state finals last season.
