FORNEY—On February 16-18, the Forney Lady Rabbit and North Forney Lady Falcon softball teams hosted and participated in their 2017 season-opening Forney ISD Softball Tournament. Overall, the Lady Rabbits and Lady Falcons posted 5-0 and 4-1 records in the tournament, respectively. The teams at the tournament this year were Forney High School, North Forney, Frisco High School, Waxahachie, Hallsville, Frisco Independence, Keller Central High School, Allen High School, Sachse High School, Mesquite Horn, Denton High School, Crandall, Emory Rains, Carrollton Creekview, Corsicana Mildred, Frisco Lone Star, Ferris, Rowlett, Richardson Pearce, Dallas Christian, Van, Flower Mound Marcus, Dallas Highland Park, and White Oak.
