    City of Forney to Begin Construction on All-Inclusive Playground at Heritage Hill Park

    The City of Forney’s Parks and Recreation Department temporarily closed Heritage Hill Park, located on Heritage Hill Dr, Forney, TX 75126, beginning June 4, 2025, to begin construction on a new, allinclusive playground.

    The upgraded playground is designed to be accessible and enjoyable for children of all abilities. Features will include a wheelchair-accessible jungle gym, roller table, swings, and a zip line, creating a fun and inclusive space for everyone.

    The park will be closed for approximately two to three weeks to remove the old equipment and install the new playground. Phase 2 of the project will add two ADA-accessible parking spaces. We look forward to sharing more updates as the project progresses.
