In litigation recently concluded, the City of Mesquite successfully defended the Coin-Operated Amusement Devices Ordinance passed in October 2020 and has started enforcement. The ordinance limits locations where devices are allowed and requires a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for businesses that desire to have more than two coin-operated amusement devices.
