North Forney High School Earns Jostens National Yearbook Design Recognition 2018 Talon yearbook featured in 2019 Jostens Look Book
Forney – North Forney High School’s yearbook, Talon “Power”, has been recognized for excellence and featured in the 2019 Jostens Look Book, celebrating the best-of-thebest in yearbook design and coverage. The Jostens Look Book is a collection of spreads and photos from outstanding yearbooks and their creative themes, cool covers, dazzling designs, relevant coverage, storytelling copy and action-packed photography. Along with design excellence, the annually published Look Book honors the important role well-crafted yearbooks play in helping schools chronicle the experiences, stories and achievements most relevant to students and that academic year.
The Talon was created by Destini Watts, editor; Anahi Montes, managing editor; Elliot DePappe, business manager; Tamia Williams, people editor; Sophie Aguilar, Life Editor; and staff members Melanie Benitez, Saron Ermias, Catie Neff, Spencer Benway, Paige Palmer, Mary Anderson, Gabby Anderson, Abani Medrano, Bianca Monrreal, Gage Smith, Raeanna Barber, and Avery Blundell, under the direction of Deanna Caplett, NFHS yearbook adviser.
