While Saturday is technically a day off for teachers, in reality, it is often another work day. The concept that teachers have free time is a myth every teacher could debunk if only they had the time.
I would venture to say that teachers work twice has hard as everyone else on their days off. Teachers have lives, families, homes and other responsibilities like other employed adults. They have guests for the holidays, events at church, volunteer in the community or a host of other activities that command their time and attention.
