Three Rights Make a Left
The last time we bought a new car was in 2003. Since then we have driven used cars and saved a ton of money. A few years ago after I totaled my work vehicle hitting a mule deer outside Lubbock Texas, my boss tasked me with buying a good used Chrysler Town and Country van to replace the one that was body checked by a big doe running at full speed. He suggested I use a web site called Car Gurus that searches any criteria you wish and sorts the results by the best deal. As it turned out the best deal in our area was at Rockwall Dodge, just up the road from Forney. A few months ago, Lori’s car gave out and we were in the market for a personal vehicle. So once again we input our criteria to find a mini van Lori loved. We found one again at Rockwall Dodge, but by the time we got there it was sold. However, Lori found a mini van she loved that didn’t exactly meet our criteria: a 2011 Kia Sedona. To say the least, I was not warm to the idea of buying a Kia but it was what my sweet wahini wanted and as I told last week, I’ve been happily married for forty years. So, if Lori wanted a Kia, that is what she would get. However, I insisted on something I almost never do. We not only bought an extended service agreement, we bought the most comprehensive one Rockwall Dodge offered.
