When Saints die and go into paradise. MY THEORY
At the time of Jesus’ death and resurrection, paradise was in the heart of the earth by the side of hell. We know by the fact that in Jesus’ parable about Lazarus and the rich man, Abraham was in
Submitted by WILLIE HOLT that paradise, because the rich man could see and hear him speak.
When Jesus died on the cross, He immediately went into His Glorified body. No other Saint has done that. In Matt: 12-40 Jesus said He would spend three days and three nights in the heart of the earth to preach to the saints in prison. We have no clue what His preaching was all about, but when it was done, paradise was moved into Heaven. Paradise was not moved into the presence of GOD because the Saints had not yet received their glorified bodies. All of the Saints will receive their glorified bodies when Jesus comes the second time and sets up His kingdom.
Our bodies are for a means to move about and do everything we need to do. When a saint dies today, they have to be carried by the angels because the body is dead and buried. On the way to paradise the saint receives a temporary body to move about in paradise and know and be known by those already there.
We do not know if the saints in paradise can see the people still living on earth, but I hope they cannot see us. If they can, they must be in constant tears and sadness for what is going on here and what is going on in their families. The word paradise means a place that is perfect. If there is any Baptist there, that would mean feasting and perfect fellowship.
We should thank GOD every day for the word He has given us and the knowledge about things below and above. This might be silly to some, but sometimes when I am sitting in my recliner, I look at the television and thank GOD for it and the enjoyment we get from watching it. Also, every direction I look I see the same kind of luxuries.
BOTTOM LINE: What a joy it is to be a Christian.............AMEN
