Overall, parents and teachers want to see students do well socially and academically. Teachers work hard to prepare effective lessons to present to students. Most parents strive to communicate the importance of academic success to their children. Despite the best efforts of both sides, sometimes, students don’t achieve as expected.
Many factors influence negatively student academic achievement. Factors may be school-related such as subpar teacher effectiveness, an ill-maintained classroom environment, or not having access to materials or current technology.
